Install samba RPM

yum install cups-libs samba samba-common samba-client system-config-samba

Configure samba /etc/samba/smb.conf

====== Disable firewall/seclinux */ #Disable firewall otherwise windows cannot see the PC systemctl stop firewalld #temporarily stop firewall systemctl disable firewalld #disable firewall after every reboot

#dsiable secure linux, otherwise windows don't have any access right to the shared folder setenforce 0 //temporarily disable selinux set below line in file /etc/selinux/config: #disable selinux for every reboot

  SELINUX=disable

Enable samba Server

systemctl enable smb.service

start Samba server

systemctl restart smb.service

List all samba users registered

pdbedit -L -v
